Simples. Just follow my instructions:
------------------------------------ Configure Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) 1 Open the "Start" menu on the host computer connected to the USB modem, and open the "Control Panel." Double-click on "Network and Internet Connections." 2 View all available wireless devices on the computer by selecting the "Network Connections" option. 3 Right-click on the USB modem connection you want to share, and select "Properties." 4 Open the "Advanced" tab and select the option that allows other network users to connect via the USB modem's connection. 5 Click "OK" to confirm the Internet Connection Sharing settings, and click "Yes" when prompted to acknowledge that possible IP address conflicts may exist on the network. 6 Start the USB modem connection by launching the client supplied by your wireless company and clicking "Connect." -------------------------------------------------- Start an Ad Hoc Network 1 Open the "Start" menu on the host computer and click "Connect to." 2 Click "Set up a connection or network" when prompted. 3 Click "Set up an ad hoc network" and then click "Next." 4 Enter the network name by which you want to refer to the ad hoc Internet sharing connection and, if desired, choose a WPA or WEP key to secure the network and keep unwanted users from connecting. 5 Click "Next" to review ad hoc connection settings and then "Close" to complete the ad hoc network configuration process. Connect Client Computers 1 Right-click the "Network" icon in the system tray, located in the lower-right corner of the screen. 2 Select the ad hoc network to which you want to the client computers, and click "Connect." 3 Enter the security key when prompted, if you configured one previously. 4 Click "Connect" to finalize the client connection for Internet Connection Sharing. 5 Test the connection by opening a web browser or other data-intensive application. Verify that you have an Internet connection and continue the setup process by connecting additional clients, as needed. Ads |
