Use the channel that they are using: paper posters, or online ads? or just the forum or word of mouth.

Your business plan should identify your target market so if that can be influenced by advertising and posters then yes that's a good idea. Don't over-invest in print as it can be expensive and has lead times to consider - social media and email marketing can be a lot faster to market and at lower cost
