Why won't my laptop work with my wifi?
It was working fine yesterday, and now, although it will pick up my router's signal, the internet itself will not work. It says the network is unidentified. Wired connections will still work though. I have found a few fixes for such problems but none have worked for me, and troubleshooting it will temporarily restore it.
I have already tried turning off the router and turning it back on, that did nothing.
I've also tried system restore several times. It keeps giving me an error; it says it failed while copying the registry from the restore point.
I should also say that the wifi works fine with everything else I have that can connect to it, based of what I've read I thingk it may be the wireless network adapter, though I'm not sure I know enough about that to be sure.

May be you have insert wrong password or changed the previous one. Try inserting the password again or resetting the router.

Couple things to try..
1. check to make sure your airplane mode is not accidentally pressed. Mine looks like an antenna with two sets of parentheses around it and is at the top of my keys.
2. make sure all the cables to your router are secure and connected all the way. Then you can press the button on the router so it will send a signal out.
3. if all else fails you could try deleting the connection on your laptop and re-put your router info in.

Also if you could include some info about what you have tried might help narrow down the advice people could give Smile

I've sort of had the same situation with you and here's how to fix

First, go to your wireless thing and unplug the power, now wait for thirty seconds and then plug it back in.

It should be solved!!
