On some websites pop up ads come up. How do I stop this?

On some websites pop up ads come up. How do I stop this?
They appaear on sites like facebook, youtube and twitter. They pop up on the side, along the bottom and in the centre. They've only started appearing recently

Install adblock plus. It is a very good program to block ads. To be honest, the websites make use of the money from the ads to improve their services.

yahoo does the same thing use adblock ..... how do you think sites make money for you to use for free
