Why can't I film from my Galaxy S2 phone on instgram or vine?
Ever sense the last update for instagram to enable us to film videos for insta. I was excited to start filming. To my surprise I couldn't. And I just got vine, and the same thing happened! Do I need a new Phone? Do you recommend the Galaxy Note or the S5?

The main reason is these are digital units and they don't do film. Video they do but if they're not working properly they won't even do that.
