USB wireless adapter?

Ok, I've just got wifi router, as in my family there are more people who need internet at the same time, but it came out that our table PC have not ability for wireless connection (it's quite new one so it's a bit surprising and I didn't expect it) according to fact that we need to set up router via this computer, it's necessary to make it wireless connection avaliable. I know about USB wireless adapter, which seems like it should help. My question is, will it really work in this case? Like, will I be able to connect to wifi via the PC after getting the USB adapter? How does it work? Will I just purchase that adapter, connect it to PC via USB cable and it will work? Please, if you can help me in this, I will be so thanful, because I am desperate about this situation

I use a wireless USB adapter on my desktop computer upstairs and it work just fine. You can actually have a computer shop install a wireless adapter card in your desktop or you can install one yourself. Some new desktops already have the adapter card installed and others don't. The USB is handy if you need to use it on other computers without wireless. You use the install CD, install the drivers, reboot and then open your network connections and click on the wireless and enable it and then reboot. Your wireless should connect one you enter the requires information it need for your wireless router.

you are absolutely right, you can buy a wireless USB adapter. In some cases windows will recognize the adapter automatically, otherwise you have to install the driver that came along the adapter. check the following link:
