Internet Explorer doesn't work on my laptop?
The network is already connected but Internet Explorer doesn't work. Whenever I open it, it the browser (completely white/blank) stays open for like 5 seconds and then it closes before it even loads.
I tried doing what the Microsoft website suggest for Windows 8: try troubleshooting (I did; no problems were detected) and reset Internet settings (I did, but that was pointless because it was already at the default settings since the laptop is brand new).
Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!!

For all the smart alecks that are going to mention that I'm using the Internet to post this question, I'm on my old laptop ATM.

Do a WinSock and TCP/IP Refresh.

Type Cmd in the Start Search text box.
Press Ctrl-Shift-Enter keyboard shortcut to run a Command Prompt as an Administrator. Allow elevation.
Type netsh winsock reset in the Command Prompt , and then press the Enter key.
Do the same process for refreshing the TCP/IP just replace the typed command with.
netsh interface ipv4 reset press Enter
netsh interface ipv6 reset press Enter
ipconfig /flushdns press Enter
Restart your Computer.
