Problem downloading!!!!! Please!!!?

Hi guys. I'm in a situation that i can only download at nights. Working with my computer all day, I can't let it be ON and download at nights while i'm sleeping. Isn't there any way like Sleep Mode or something like that that make the computer go in a low profile but still downloading?
I really need it guys. It's very necessary. ThanX!!!!

Uh, why can't you let it be on and download at night? The computer doesn't care if it runs 24/day. It never gets tired and never needs a rest. You just have to keep it from getting hot. Most people turn the heat down at night anyway, so that shouldn't be an issue ...

As far as going to a low power state ... open control panel and then the Power settings. You can configure many aspects of power usage there - use the advanced settings option. You can tell it, for example, to power off the screen after a certain amount of time, and a host of other settings which will allow you to leave it running to do any downloading while also conserving power.
