How do i approach this theft? Doesn't this sound fishy? Nintendo fans needed!?
Ok heres the story:
I own a Pikachu 3ds XL, it's really rare that every walmart/target/toys r us only had 2 in most of the stores.

well, it was stolen at school on Feb 17, 2014
then coincidentally a guy posts a picture of his two friends on twitter and one of the girls in the picture had a pikachu DS on Feb 22,2014.
My friend asked the group of kids who the DS belonged to and the girl, Lily, said it was hers and that she bought it around $200. Keep in mind that the girl shows no trace of being a Pokemon fan on her twitter or owning a DS AT ALL. You honestly have to ATLEAST like pokemon to have that rare DS.
AND theres more: the other guy in the picture is my friend and after i had lost mine he should me a text from his brother that said :
"Congrats on making it to the Debate State competition!" And it was a picture of a Pikachu 3DS without the back.
Doesnt this sound really fishy??
The 3DS in the picture had a back???
What do you think i should do????
*The two guys in the picture were in my classes the day it was stolen but the girl wanst*

Okay If you wanna be a good person in the process, report it stolen, get as many adults in this. And your right. it is fishy that right after you lose your 3ds, they post a picture of having one. If you just want it back no matter what, steal it back. see if your friend would make the sacrifice. I want you to go to your friend and ask him if he will help you. if he doesn't want to, stab him. he knows too much. I want you to go to this girl, seduce her and sleep with her. after you had sex, sneak out and find the 3ds. once you have that 3ds, sacrifice her to satan and leave. wait you are in college right?

You don't have to be a pokemon fan to get the pikachu 3ds xl. Some people buy it to resell it for a huge profit. I bought some consoles and games just because I know they're rare and if I ever get desperate enough, I can resell it for a profit. Sometimes I buy it because there's a great deal in it. I bought the gears of war elite 360 because best buy has it for 250 and with my reward points, it cost me a little over 100.

Unless you have the serial number (did you register it on club Nintendo after you bought it), you don't stand a chance. It could be coincidence. You need concrete evidence. That's where the serial number comes in. It's unique to each 3ds xl so the odds of 2 with the same serial number is 0.

You need to prove your ownership of the 3DS console. If it contains any record of transactions via credit/debit card, then you're in luck. The transactions can be traced back to the original 3DS system. The same is true if you have any downloads that came free with the system or anything like that, so long as you have that copy registered with Club Nintendo.

Unfortunately, all that any adults could do in this situation is contact her parents and request to see the logs or receipts. This is also why it's recommended that you register all products with Nintendo (use BOTH the serial number and the club code), so that this specific 3DS system could be traced back to you. Do you have any online accounts associated with this 3DS like in Mario Kart of Pokémon?

Otherwise, it's really a matter of your word against hers. I'd advise you from now on not to bring these devices to school.
