does not yet dispatched mean it hasnt taken the money out ytet?

i placed an amazon order, and im not sure if the moneys just not come off, or if it means it hasnt been shipped? what does it mean? is the money off the card? i dont want to attempt to reorder it and be double charged. Sorry if its a lame question :X

not yet dispatched means they haven't posted the item yet
the money may or may not have been taken yet

I believe you can still ask for a full refund, no penalties if you've placed an order that hasn't yet dispatched. However you might better wait for someone with a bit more knowledge just to be sure.
