I am currently working on a website, just for fun. I dont expect it to get alot of traffic, I just made it for personal use, but does it look ok? is there anything I can improve on design wise? I dont care about spelling and grammer currently. I want to just get it looking good right now.

If you are interested in building something for fun then seriously try php from scratch.
also try wordpress cms for blogging. It gets more visitors

Your website looks simple but good try. You can improve your website adding few web functionalities. Google search to gain more knowledge about website building and work on your website. You can learn PHP & HTML to build a website. Idea of having a personal website is great.
