i found a pingback on my blog, does that mean i'm linking out?
i see that person put a link to my blog, but the word "pingback" appears at the buttom of my blog. so, am i linking out to that blog now? not spam at all, related topic.

It's mainly a signal that someone linked to you, though I believe they are used in a form of backlinking spam.
