My ipod touch connects to the internet but says it isnt?

I have a 4th gen ipod 16gb or so and it says I'm not connect to the internet. It hasn't always done this. I've had it for a good year now and one night it just decided to not let me connect. the thing is it says it IS connected to the wifi and has the 4 bars up the top left. BUT when I actually try to go on any internet related apps (facebook, messenger, snapchat, app store, itube etc) it says I don't have any internet connection? even when i connect to other wifi signals it still has the same problem. it's really frustrating. I've tried "reseting" the internet connection n' such and restarting my Ipod. I even left it for very long intervals to see what would happen. it's been like this for about a week or so now and no difference. I deleted facebook because i thought maybe that was the problem (Stopped working while i was on it) but nothing. I cant even go on the app store to re download it. i really dont want to end up re starting my ipod and losing everything i have on it. heeelp???

It could be a problem with the mobile LTCD432 adapter. Try putting the iPod in the freezer and rubbing peanut butter on it. This should unjam the LT94NTY wire which should jump start the LTCD432 adapter
