You don't directly. This is a Q&A site, not Facebook. You can email users through their profile if they allow or you can pick the Best Answer and add all the comments you wish at that time.
Only dumb that the same question has been asked 1000 times, just this week. You can read all versions with a search. Ads |

you don't - this is a question/answer forum, not a chat site or a message board where you start a thread
you ask a knowledge seeking question the Additional Details function is for adding more info about your question, not for chatting to those who have answered you may say thank you under Asker's Rating if you pick them for best answer and you can leave a comment under the BA and each of the answers comments must not be chat, must not ask for email addresses to be exchanged if their email or IM is enabled you can contact them that way but they may not respond "the same question has been asked 1000 times, just this week" @#$%! I KNOW! |

You were laughing out loud? I'm missing what could be that funny about your question.
You do not reply to answers. This is not a discussion forum where there can be a continuous thread to the original post. If it were allowed, there would be a "Reply" button with each answer. Discussion isn't allowed here. If someone asks a question with their answer (they HAVE to answer also or the answer is a violation), you can use the edit option with your question to add information to clarify you question... but NOT for the purpose of carrying on a conversation with that person,. |

The best way, first, enable your email.
Go to the home page http://answers.yahoo.com/ click the wrench right side of the window. Scroll to: Answers Community. Check as below: Can contact me via email(Your address will remain private) Can contact me via Yahoo Messenger (This will make your messenger and Yahoo Id visible to Answers community) Click save. Now you could click on their avatar, if they accept ims or emails click on the appropriate one and follow the prompts. If the question is still open you can click on the "pencil icon on the bar below your question then "add details" to clarify your question, unfortunately many posters never return to see your added details so you are still best to enable your email and try to contact them that way. You can also comment when you choose best answer to your question however most members who answered your question probably won't see your comment. |
