Internet connection problem?

So my mom's laptop and my laptop were both having a bit of problems with the same internet connection. But I pretty solved them all. So now, my wireless internet connection is working fine, but my mom's laptop's wireless connection won't connect to the wireless router... Is it possible that when one of the computer is using the wireless connection, the other can't?

In our house there is 4 laptops running off the same wireless connection - So no. It's not that..

If your running windows 7 try the following -
Click start --> Control Panel --> Under the Network and Internet section, Choose view network status and tasks --> at the left of the page, choose change adapter settings from the left column.

Your wireless networks are here.. Right click your wireless connection and choose disable. (Click yes if you are prompted to do so by Explorer.exe.) Enable it again by doing the same process.

This will reset your internet connection - Hopefully fixing it
