What do you think of Instagram?

It's a waste of time. Why not learn something new instead? Or read a book? Be useful to society? Or use your brain for once??? People spend so much time staring at eachother's "outfit of the day" instead of actually living life. When I go out with my friends, they dont live in the moment. I call it living in the "instagram moment" because they are so hung up on taking pictures for social media that they are not really there. Everything is a photo op, no one genuinely does anything for themselves anymore. If someone helps an old lady accross the street, either they have their iphone camera out to document it and show everyone what a great civilian they are, or take a "selfie" after and write about their heroic escapades in the caption. And what does liking a picture even do? Think about it, it means absolutely nothing.

I have 4 accounts i think. My personal, my tumblr-ish account, my chibi account and my old account. I havent been on my chibi or tumblr account since xmas so theyll both say 27 days till xmas on them. I deleted my old account coz i had 505 followers who were all people i didnt know. Well i knew about 250 of them. And then 100 were tumblr-ish accounts and then 150 were just creeps. So i deleted and now my personal has 20 followers (i just started two days ago and im not active). I also didnt like how if i posted a selfie id get 20 likes on a good day and 3 "ur pretty" comments and then another girl from my school would have 100 likes on like a bad-ish day and like 50 "ur pretty" comments.

I think it's kind of interesting. I agree though, I don't have anything to post on there. I have about 30 pictures...only like 3 are of me. I love my friend Kyla's instagram though, she does makeup and nail projects that are just incredible. She is definitely going places Smile
