i want to know how to get more backlinks

and what counts as one link

lets say i post a comment on http://www.something(.)com with my link

does that counts as one backlink or can i post more than 1 time on the same website just on differant posts and they would all count as 1 backlink each so 5 post on 1 site would be 5 or 1 backlink

i post comments on blogs and i add my website is that correct?

Get backlinks form websites in your niches.

The best way to get backlinks is to do guest posting on some website. Also try directory submission. Most comment postings have nofollow tag on it so their backlinks do not count.
