How can someone move on so quickly?

I just need somebody to vent too.
Yesterday I told my ex that I missed him. He didn't say anything but "Okay Cool." I've been stalking his twitter. On twitter he said he "knows who he wants" and he "wants her". He's not talking about me because him and this girl flirts back in forth.
How can someone you were close with just forget about you because of another girl?
How can someone say all these nice things but move on so soon?

Me and this boy were close... He told me alot of secrets and so did I.


Im not the type of person to move on so quickly.
I guess I should stop worrying about him... because when he wanted a relationship, I didn't. I don't want a boyfriend, but I still like him.

Any advice?

People change over time. You guys shared secrets because you were in a relationship and trusted each other. As much as it sucks sometimes people start looking for other personality traits and find those in another person. They may have moved on to make it easier to get over you but doesn't mean that he has. Or maybe he had been emotionally detached from your relationship for a while and now he's ready to move on. I'm sorry you're in this situation it's not easy but just give it time and you too will move on.

I know exactly how you feel and it sucks. I'm going through something similar at the moment. If only when you're the one feeling that bad you could also see how much more practical it is to simply let go of these people and not let them waste your time! amen.
