How to get the attention of someone on Twitter?

Hey,

I was wondering how I could get the attention of someone on Twitter.

I have tweeted them and they've followed me, only thing is, they didn't reply to my original tweet.
Therefore, I sent them a PM and after re-tweeting them, got a reply.
They asked me to email them, and I'm not getting a reply.

How do I get the attention of this person? They only seem to reply after sending Tweets - but I'm aware this is probably annoying so I don't want to do this!

Making use of the twitter @ function would get the attention of anyone n twitter. For instance, if you need my attention, make a tweet with @my_username in it. I'll receive the tweet in my notification feed and that's it.
