How do you check your internet connection type in windows 8?
Dial up, Modem etc.
I`m using internet cyclone and its asking for your internet connection type

All you have to do is go to the website that you brought your internet from. For example, let's say your internet service provider is att, so they should have gave you their site in a booklet so you can go there and change and look at your information of your internet. You can later also change your internet connection type too.

When you get on the Internet, does it dial a phone number, then make a lot of weird noises, then finally connect at around 50K? If so, it is dial-up. If you live in a first world country, in a city, it is much more likely broadband. Also, your connection speed will tell you if it is dial-up or broadband.
