Why does my Internet go down, every time I try to attach, or download an attachment?
I was trying to build a GoDaddy website, and they had me go in and do some things to my computer to get it to work. Now, when I try to attach, or download an attachment, thru Internet Explorer, or Google, my internet shuts off. Does not matter if I am on gmail, or Yahoo, either. My son did something last weekend, and it worked all week, and now it is doing it again.
Also, every time I open the internet, a box appears saying Google Chrome will not work completely, because it requires at least Windows XP, which I have, but it does not think so.
I have downloaded updates for Google and Internet Explorer, and it keeps telling me to update them, right after I do it.
Does anyone know what is going on? I would really appreciate some help.

When I wrote my question on the Post, when I clicked enter to add to my question, that shut my Internet down, also.

Your computer is one sick puppy. I suggest you reinstall your operating system or put it to sleep.

Stop trying to work with Windows XP. Move to the 21st century as soon as possible.

May need to do a system restore to a time before you made the changes.
