Sure, the most popular is Graig's List. They are in all major US metro areas, so that local people can contact you. You should refresh your ad from your Craig's List account every 3 days or so, since the latest ads are at the top of the page and your ad will soon fall of the first page.

Also if you have a business you can create a page on Wikicream.org for free also.

It is a bit like wikipedia but smaller businesses can get a page on it.

Not 100% sure but you might also be able to create pages for products as well.
