Asking a girl out?

I'm in high school. I'm 16 and I'm a sophomore. I like a girl in my Spanish class that makes me very nervous. The love at first sight nervous. I have social anxiety from a lot of crazy stuff in my life and I can not muster a word to her. She has a twitter but I'm not followed to her. I need help on what to do.

talk to her first. build an acquaintance thingy. then hopefully you can both make that into a friendship and work from their. at the acquaintance/friend stage, maybe you can ask her if you could study together for Spanish or something?
