Hey guys! I'll keep this short & I need answers ASAP!
On thursday night I was really confused because I didn't know what courses I wanted to take next year at school and the deadline was the following day (friday) so what I did was, I went on my high school's facebook page and I sent a post saying, "Can someone in gr 11 message me to tell me more about the programming, physics, and antro class? Thanks" shortly after a cute guy in GRADE 12, messaged me. We're friends on fb cause everyone used to add everyone but we hadn't spoken before, ever. He explained all the courses to me and he was REALLY nice, he even helped me choose my courses and I didn't even ask him to. After that was over, he said, "so what's up?" and we talked for about 5 more minutes and then he said, "alright well ima go finish some french work before i eatt, ttyl!" and i said, "okay, thanks again for the help! see you around!" and he said, "no worries ttyl!" THIS TOOK PLACE ON THURSDAY NIGHT. I also found out through our convo on fb that we are both originally italian and we are from the same place in italy originally, and we both speak italian.
On friday night, I recieved a friend request from him on INSTAGRAM (bc my profile is set on private) and I also got a friend request from his best guy friend. How weird!?!?! I accepted both and only followed back the guy that messaged me.

I decided that I should message him again tomorrow (monday) because I want to be friends with him. I don't want to be his girlfriend because I don't think we would be a good couple but just friends is what I want.
ALSO, we did a compatibility questionnaire at school a few weeks ago to see who we are compatiblie with in the school andwhen we got our list of people, he was on my list with 88%. So what now?

I'll message him tomorrow, but what should I say? How should I keep this convo going to make him think i want to be his friend but not make him think that I want to be anything more than that? I don't want him to get the idea that I like him as more than a friend!

Honestly just have a normal conversation and don't mention relationships so he has no reason to think you like him. Act as you normally would.

Don't do anything flirty or act flirty around him. There are lots of ways to be friendly around a guy without making him think you like him. Act as normal as possible, like with one if your girl friends.

OMG, you are making such a HUGE deal out of nothing. Just because a guy friends you does not mean he wants a full blown relationship with you.
