Why i need internet on my android?

I mean i can't do anything on android without data connection but i have limited data plan and i don't know what to do. Are there any ways to get pc internet on my phone without root?

Do you by any chance have a wireless router (for WiFi) in your home? If so, you can connect to that... Quite a basic concept. Also, many malls, coffee shops, and stores, as well as libraries, offer free WiFi, so you can connect when you're out and about. Using WiFi on your phone does not require root. Other than making phone calls, it's about the most basic function on a smartphone.
