How to authenticate FB login w/wrong security answer, no old devices available to login to.?

My grandfather has a facebook page he has not logged into in about a year due to health issues. He is better now, and just received a kindle for his birthday. I was trying to set up fb for him on it and though I have the email and password, since it is a new device it won't let me log in without the security question. But he doesn't remember how he typed in the answer. The only decice he has used to log into fb in the past is now broken. I have no idea how to get him in. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
