please help! google chrome?

I had this yesterday but it's gone now anyways, on google chrome when you visit a site and type something and then visit again and you start to type the previous thing and a suggestion comes up?
Ex: You type "dog" and press enter.
Then you come back to type dog again and when you type "D", "dog" will come in a suggestion box underneath?
Well mine is gone! How do I get it back?

I think you need to update google chrome would be your best bet!

Hit the wrench on the top right on google chrome > settings > and check (Enable Instant for faster searching (omnibox input may be logged).
