Youtube slow on my PC HELP!!?
I'm running windows 7 64-bit, i have a decent internet connection at 22/10 Mbps, using chrome! (i tried other browsers too)
Yet youtube either gives "an error occurred please try again later" or the video takes super long to start and then loads normally. I know the problem is not with my PC since this only happens at the Wi-Fi at home. Youtube works fine with my school's Wi-Fi (which has a slower connection), and other Wi-Fis. Also when I use a proxy (ultrasurf) at home youtube works like a charm. Also youtube runs very well through my phone or ipad at home. I've tried everything! Clearing cache, cookies, etc. did not help! I don't know what to do anymore! Please help! Ads |

'' An ERROR OCCURRED. Please try again later" Â means there is/was a momentary
lapse between your computer and YouTube. Â Either your internet connection was not strong and had a hiccup - or something is temporarily mucking-up YouTube's servers. For the 1st case, simply turn-off your modem + router for about 30 seconds and then turn them back on again. (Note: It does not really matter which order you do them in). For the 2nd case, there is not very much you can do if you have already cleared your cache+cookies+history, then shutdown and rebooted. Â However..... Other possibilities + solutions: -- Right-click any video, click "Settings'' and uncheck "Enable Hardware Acceleration". -- Disable any Adblock add-on, play a video; then re-enable the Adblock the next day. -- There could be a Player conflict -- (like with Real Player, Pepperflash or Shumway). Â Â Â If that's the case, disable/uninstall it, and when you need it back, simply reinstall it. -- Disable your anti-virus program, since you can not get a virus from YouTube videos. -- You may unknowingly be using "HTML5'' instead of "Flash''. Â To be sure, click here: Â Â Â http://www.youtube.com/html5 and opt out. :-) |
