I'm opening a business soon, when should i start marketing?
I'm opening a business in just over a month. I have started a bit of marketing, but I have not told anyone when we are starting operations. When would be the best time to start a facebook account and let people know about us and our starting date?
Thanks in advance. Ads |

I'd say about a month so the word can travel and a month is the perfect time.

Different types of advertising require different timetables.
It can take a while to develop a successful online marketing campaign, so I'd recommend starting that at least four months in advance of your opening. Or in other words, ASAP. About a couple of weeks before you open, I would recommend launching a direct mail campaign. This can attract local and national customers to check out your store, and you can even personalize your messages for each recipient. You can find some great deals on direct mail printing online. Just search for commercial color printing services and you should be able to request a quote, free of charge. |
