Something keeps changing google chromes seach engine?

im not sure what the heck i downloading but something keeps changing the seach engine on chrome...
i did some looking and something about spigot. they said to go to common files and delete that folder and i did. but it still is changing my seach engine...

when i go on i.e. i get this
http://search.yahoo.com/?type=541231&fr=spigot-yhp-ie

but on chrome i get this
http://search.yahoo.com/search?fr=chr-gr...41231&p=%s

try running a virus scan
try looking into extensions and settings in google
re install google
