Ignore, it doesn't harm your health. All you have to do is to check your apps settings and revoke those unwanted that can post on your timeline and can sent you a DM.

through your email on yahoo? just click "delete all" button to the far left,
if you're talking about on the twitter home page, you need to block who's ever spamming you, if the spam still comes through you need to make your twitter private and change your name. I know it's very annoying has been happening a lot lately.
