How do I share my desktops USB internet to a device which needs wired connection.?
I have a verifone Handheld POS device that works on wired internet only but I do not have a wired broadband so I want to share my desktops USB internet with this device. Is it possible ?

By wired, I assume you mean Ethernet connected.

Providing that your desktop has an Ethernet port, and is running Windows, then the answer is YES.

Open Network & Sharing Center, and open the properties for the USB port that is providing your Ethernet connection. There you should find "Share this computers Internet connection" on one of the property tabs. Enable this feature. I normally find that I have to reboot before proceeding.

You will need an Ethernet cross-over cable to connect the desktop's Ethernet port to your POS device, which must be set to get its addresses automatically using DHCP.

Now both your desktop and your POS device should be able to use the Internet at the same time.
