I deleted my tumblr account and now it seems to exist with another title?

I deleted my old tumblr account and it had a complicated url, something very long in french. Now it looks like someone has taken this url - which is unlikely to guess - and created another tumblr even if there's nothing there, it's empty (and the title is like "fat mums get banged" or something like that). What happened???

Hello friend,

Once you deleted your account then your url is available to anyone as per tumblr guidelines. If you're sure of account deletion, then someone else created new account and acquired the same url you were holding.

Another thing is the person had created a new account but hasn't done anything yet so its look empty.

So do not tense and if you feel something wrong do mail to tumblr community, they are waiting to solve our problems.

I agree with Warren that you can contact tumbler directly if anything is going in wrong direction.
