Would it be illegal to set up an outside "photo booth"?
I recently bought the Photojojo book and one of the ideas in it is to put up a poster on a street corner that says something like "We take your photo, you get a lollipop!" as you ask random passer-bys if you can take their photo. I really like this idea and I used to create another idea.
I would like to set up a poster like that one and set up another white poster as a backdrop for ther passer-bys and give them those photobooth props (like moustaches and lips and bowties, etc on a stick) to take a picture, then give them a lollipop and if they'd like I could set up a Facebook page where these people could see & access their photo on Facebook. Would this be illegal, to set up a poster outside and ask these people? Ads |

It's only illegal if your city prohibits it on the street. You'll have a better chance if you do it off the street, a park perhaps.

You have the best chance of doing this, if you aren't blocking someone's business to do this.

Other than you might need a permit for this kind of thing, I think you are okay.
