Internet connection problem?
I have 3 computers at home, all are connected to the same wifi connection. 2 of the computers have normal internet, I can open webpages and so on but on of them I cant connect to the internet, for e.g I tried opening the web with 3 web browsers internet explorer, firefox and google chrome all don't work, but when I go to the network and sharing center it's says that I am connected to the wireless network and that I have internet access, but when I go to steam, I cant visit the store because they say i have no internet connection but when i go to library and go to black ops multiplayer I can play online as if i have internet. It all started when AVG antivirus said that I have a malware, so AVG asked if I want to remove it so I clicked on remove, that's when the problem happened. Can anyone please help me? much appreciated, Thanks

Some malware, when removed create proxy settings on your computer which make it impossible to access the internet.

If you have access to another PC download Hitman Pro from surfright.nl. Get it on the computer that isn't working and run it. It will say you have no internet connection, but that's fine. Run a scan with it, it should tell you there's some settings wrong with your PC or something, a proxy created on 127.0.0.1 or something of the likes, repair it and that should fix your problem.
