How can I improve my fb business page? Babysitting?
Hiya,

This is my facebook business page and I am trying to get more people hiring me so any ideas for improvement? I have recently added a couple of pictures of me with some kids I have cared for and will take more this week. I have joined google local places to get more traffic but it takes up to 2 weeks to verify my address. Any other ideas?
Thanks

The kids in the picture with me are my fiances nephew and nieces and their mother is aware so it is fine, thank you for mentioning it though.

If someone hires you for babysitting then it'll more likely be from word of mouth rather than stumbling on your FaceBook page. Also as a parent let me tell you this, if you posted pictures of my children on your FB as a means of advertising I'd sue you. Seriously, make sure the parents are fine with that unless you want a bloody war.

Rather than worry about a FaceBook page why not create a good resume, with written references from past families you've worked for. As a parent I'd take that far more seriously.

I would agree that word of mouth is the best way to find clients. You might find some places where you can offer care for groups of children and this may lead to more jobs. Play groups, parenting classes, events that schools or churches are running where they need child care. People will have an opportunity to see you with their children and you can hand out business cards letting folks know you can provide child care.
