Why can't I attach files to my emails?

I am having much difficulty attaching files to my emails. What happens is I click on the file itself though windows explorer to attach, and the green bar goes all the way to the right and stops. However, it never seems to actually attach the file and it sits like that indefinitely. I am running Google Chrome FYI. Thanks.

There appears to be a glitch in the system right now, seen the same question a lot of times in the last few days. What seems to work is to forward the email to yourself at another site like Hotmail or Google. Or to open your email in a different browser like Mozilla Firefox.

If all else fails try useing a different browser to get your Yahoo email.
