Well, it would seem if the internet connection is "out of nowhere" then perhaps you are just lucky it shows up once in a while. Perhaps the problem is not why does it stop occasionally, but rather why is it ever there. I'm thinking twilight zone. Rod can you help?

It could be a lot of variables that you yourself are unable to fix. Questions that you need to answer are :
1) What kind of connection is it?
2) Where is it located?
3) What kind of connection do you have to your computer?

Some of the underlying problems would be :
1) Can it be the modem's fault?
2) If you have a router, could that be it?
3) If it's a landline DSL, can it be a phone line issue?
4) Is it your network card not responding?

It's SO many questions that we cannot answer. You're better off calling your service.

okay man wat kind of router do you have. if you have a linksys wireless router, this router brands usually have a litlle hole in the back. punch that hole with the tip of the pen. and if you didnt disconnect form your wireless connection i recommend you do it so you can aboid having this same problem. the next step is to reset your wireless router. next reset your other router that you use for your internet conection. next plug and unplug the cables connected to your wireless router. and after youv'e have unpluged the cables, change the cables and plug them in the opposite direction. i mean plug the first one were the second one goes, and plug the second one were the first one goes. this usually works for me. do this and surellly i garanty you , will have no problems after you reset your computer. do that after you've had unpluged and reseted the routers.
