How do you disable Google Chrome Downloader?

How do you disable Google Chrome Downloader? I want it to use DAP by default I hate the Google downloader.

i don't think u can. that's how google chrome is. i don't c y u hate it tho.

that is not a feature. it's a part of the terms of service before install that the installer can go to google for updates. this is for security purposes and to patch up any security holes without waiting for the user to intervene.

I think you'll have to wait until DAP creates a plugin for Chrome. You can try asking around in http://www.googlechromecommunity.com too.
