What eye shadow colours should I pick for a smokey eye?

So I got this little pallet thing and i wanna do a smokey eye... Which 3 colours should I pick?

I would choose blacks, greys and dark colours ? Hope this helps

For daytime, the browns would be more appropriate. A brown smokey eye compliments so many different eye colors and skin tones. For nighttime, you can use the darker colors and I personally would do a smokey cat eye.
