How do i search someone on fb when all i know is his first name?

There is this guy i really like at my mums work and i cud just ask her for his surname but im bound to get a million questions. I cant find him fb as there is too many phils any other way i could try to find him?

If you know any of his friends or people who may know him, they might have him on facebook.. also try narrowing the search on myspc or fb by his age and location.
