Does Zwinky still have problems with it as of 2014?

So, is anything about Zwinky better as of 2014? Does anyone still use it? I've seen on Facebook that they've added a lot of new things, and I would possibly like to use it again. But I've had a past with computers crashing, and funny enough, every computer I had that crashed had Zwinky on it. I figured that's what messed my computer up. But I haven't even tried to download Zwinky on the the laptop I have now and I've had this fro around 2 years now? And it still works perfectly. I have Avast! antivirus, and I use Google Chrome as a browser. I know that it adds new tool bars, but I don't know if you can add new tool bars on Google Chrome (I'm definitely not trying to do that), and I don't use Internet Explorer of Firefox. But if you still use it in 2014, I'd like to know if it has damaged your computer at all or anything. Because I'm not trying to get any viruses or malware or anything. I don't HAVE to play Zwinky, I can definitely live without. But I would still like to know. And it still seems pretty sketchy if you have to install Zwinky just to get to your profile and everything.
