Does anyone else find malware in their...?
Google Chrome software? Every time it downloads, I get up to 45 "bugs" in it that I have to delete. Is this normal?

You probably are downloading google chrome from the correct place:
https://www.google.com/intl/en_uk/chrome/browser/ If this is the case, then you will want to update your anti-virus software and complete a full scan of your system. If this reveals nothing, then download, install, update and do a scan using Malwarebytes Spybot SD Hope this helps. Ads |

whenever you install ANYTHING, you need to pay attention to uncheck the appropriate boxes, so that additional software (aka malware) is not installed alongside it. you also want to watch what it is that your are AGREEING to when you hit the Agree button on an install. you may be agreeing to let them install more malware, and not the original program you wanted. it is all a matter of PAYING ATTENTION when you install something. Java does this, and so does uTorrent, and many other completely legitimate softwares.
Chrome should not have these issues, unless you are already infected, and the installer was attached with malware before you installed it. also, like Stacey tried to say, ONLY DOWNLOAD CHROME FROM google.com ! anywhere else, and who knows what they may tack on! |
