bluestack stuck!! help?

bluestacks will download for the longest time and after the loading stops, it will be stuck on the loading page. no apps. nothing. i tried finding the old version but everytime i tried downloading it said it cant be opened. im using a macbook. tried downloading the alpha version for mac, still cant be open. i hate the beta version. help. any links?
