I have a question about selling on ebay?

So this is my first time selling on ebay and I am not sure how the shipping works. I am selling a book so when someone buys it, do I have to put the book in a box and then go to the post office? Or do I just bring the book to the post office and do they package it for you?

I might be able to save you a little gas, if you use paypal or if you have an account with usps you can print out the shipping label right from your home (if you have a printer) and use a box or a bubble envelop and give it to your mail lady.

but if you decided you want to walk you can just bring the book in but you would have to purchase a pre paid box to put your book in.

Okay, for your first sale on ebay paypal will hold the funds in your account for 21 days, until the buyer leaves positive feedback, or 3 days after you provide paypal with a tracking or delivery confirmation number to them. That's only for your first sale, after that the funds are deposited into your paypal account and you can print a shipping label from ebay or paypal that takes the funds out of your account from the buyer to do so.
