My Xbox is blinking 3 red rings what's wrong?

Your x-box just died (The red rings of DEATH) . And your life is now ruined. Buy a new one, you can't fix it. Well, you can bring it to the shop, but that's about it.

Are the cables plugged in right ? Red lights will blink if the cables are ot plugged in right.

Ah, it looks like you've got the RRoD (Red Ring of Death.)

Your XBOX has overheated or is not getting enough power and is shutting down and refusing to continue working. Just turn it off and don't play for a day or two. That usually fixes it. If not, then just DM me on twitter @CatarinaWills. Maybe I can help you.

I can help you if you give me this little bit of information, that way I can work out why the console is broken. Turn the console on, then when the lights turn red hold down sync then press eject 4 times noting down how many lights are on for each press for example: 4144 then add the it as an additional detail.
