I prefer Chrome. I like its user interface more, it has easier bookmark syncronising, and it supports all of the latest web tech.

Neither.
Safari is the fastest browser, in my experience. However, it's not very compatible with certain websites. Mozilla Firefox is the slowest, but it is the most secure. Google Chrome is fast, but it is compatible with any other website- e.g. Youtube, Facebook. I personally use Safari strictly for forums and researching. Mozilla I use for watching ahem adult stuff. And Google Chrome for youtubing and gaming. |

I use Firefox simply by virtue that, as a developer, it has support for all the tools (addons) I could ever need or want, and has a fine level of customization. I still use Chrome as a secondary browser, though, and it's fast and sleek, but I'm somewhat dissatisfied that so many settings are left out. I understand Google's approach to make things as easy as possible for the average end-user, but I guess I'm not an "average" user.
