Limewire stopped getting internet connection?

i have been having it for a while and al the sudden it stops getting internet connection. I think it might have to do with a virus scan i did. Anyone know how to get it back working?

When mine stopped working I had to go to internet options and lower my security settings to medium, it works just fine now, but I do not recommend leaving it that way do what you need to on limewire and then return your setting when they are done.

To Get internet Connection back for Lime wire Try To Uninstall Lime wire then install again then Unblock windows firewall. well this happened to me once! i just updated it and every thing was awesome

Sometimes, as your ISP and FBI is monitoring illegal downloads from Limewire and Bittorrent the signal gets interrupted or stopped as the IP addresses are being logged and tracked.

Usually closing your browser and then restarting your download or file sharing gets the connection re-established.
