Instagram advice??? Please ANSWER?!?!?

So right now I have 1.2k followers on instagram. It's kind of a mixture of themed and non themed photos. I would love to interact with my followers more but I can't because then people from my school that follow me will see it ...

I always get compliments from my fruends about how nice my instagram is even though I'm never happy with it. I don't want to stop them thinking it's nice thought, because photography is just a hobby I love doing.

So should u start a new account dedicated to just themed photos? If so, how could I let my friends at school understand? My account is @imkatexox so check it out!
