Jobs ideas?
I know I'm young and I don't have to be thinking about this but I just want some ideas on what job is good for me so when I know, it'll lead me in the right direction and I'll work towards getting that job (I'm 14). Basically when I graduate high school I want to move to LA and just have a nice apartment and a job but I also want to go to college. I was thinking of a fun job or something that I wouldn't have to get dressed up for. I'm into social media (typical teenager) so maybe something along those lines... Basically I need a job that will help me "survive" in the LA community. Thanks in advance for answers Smile

California is a very expensive place to live and as a high school graduate it would be unlikely you could find a job that paid enough to support yourself - even if you found a room mate situation to help share costs.

Also, to attend college you would need to check how to establish your residency here, College is usually very expensive if you are a non-resident when you try to enroll.

So there are a lot of problems with your plans - these can be overcome but you are going to want to come to CA only after you have a Bachelors degree with a 3.0-3.5 minimum grade average and some job experience - usually 3-5 years. Otherwise you will just be joining the ranks of many unemployed folks that are already here.

Best wishes! .

I suggest you choose a career path that pays well and offers a lot of job openings. Most in the healthcare industry can be categorized here. Should you be interested, here are more recommended jobs: http://bitly.com/1fWNmvK .
